The Nissin i60A may be ultra-compact and extremely light, but it certainly doesn’t lack power, boasting a guide number of 60 (at ISO 100, 200mm zoom head position).
Its 2.4GHz radio transmitter allows for slave TTL abilities, as well as offering full manual modes, and the colour LCD on the rear of the flashgun means settings can be easily viewed and adjusted.
The zoom range covers 24-200mm, which can be expanded to 16mm by using the built-in diffusion panel. Recycle times are impressive, varying from 0.1sec to 5.5sec. Bouncing flash is also no problem, as this flashgun boasts the ability to rotate right or left by 180 degrees and upwards by 90 degrees. Alternatively the built-in LED can be used to provide constant illumination. To reduce recycle times, an external power pack (£149) can be used instead of batteries. With the i60A, Nissin has incorporated complete control into a competitively priced and compact unit without compromising on power, reliability or quality.
