The Acme Made Union Photo Messenger is a stylish bag that wouldn’t look out of place on a bustling city street. It’s small, light and is made out of tough Bombshell technical fabric so it’s built to take a scrape or two. It looks like a standard photographic shoulder bag but the shiny appearance also makes it look slightly different. Simplicity is key to the design, with just a small pocket on the main flap. Under this you’ll find another accessory pocket and the main compartment for your camera and lenses.
This is a very small bag that is a good size for a shoulder bag. You can fit your camera and lens in, with another lens or two or a couple of accessories, which is ideal for a basic day out shooting. The dividers within neatly fold outwards, allowing a DSLR with lens attached to be placed into the central section of the bag. If you used the bag for a CSC camera and lens, you could easily carry several other lenses and accessories. On the side you’ll find an almost hidden lens cap pocket that will take lens caps up to 77mm, so no more fumbling around in pockets looking for them.
The styling is what really stands out with the Acme Made Union Photo Messenger, and it looks like the kind of thing you’ll either love or hate – the burgundy interior contrasting with the slick black exterior is an example of this. Looks aside, the bag is well-made and feels like a quality product, which is good considering the £60 price-tag. Overall, this is a bag that looks and feels young and dynamic.
A small bag with a tough exterior but not much storage. Best for snappers who want a slick looking bag.
