If you struggle to hold your reflector while shooting then the Lastolite TriGrip Difflector could offer the solution you’ve been looking for.
Lastolite’s TriGrip Difflector is a very handy reflector and diffuser combined. It’s available in two colour combos and three sizes – one side is a plain white diffuser that blocks 2 stops of light, and the other side is a striped white and soft silver or soft gold surface that produces a more subtle bounce light. Available sizes are 45cm, 75cm and 1.2m. As with Lastolite’s other Tri reflectors and diffusers, the Difflector features a rubberised moulded handle complete with Velcro hand straps, which are surprisingly effective – once you’re strapped in, that Difflector is going nowhere! If you’re the photographer, this makes holding the camera in one hand and a reflector in the other considerably easier, and if you’re the assistant you can comfortably hold a Difflector in each hand and look like a windmill!
This is an innovative and well-designed product that ticks two essential boxes for all portrait photographers.
