The main compartment, which can be accessed from either side (though this can be fiddly), includes a pull-out tray sized for a smaller DSLR and mid-zoom lens. However, the two main Velcro dividers don’t offer a lot of customisation options and the space is rather limited considering the size and price.

The top compartment is extremely spacious though, with a large meshed area for secure storage. The rear compartment will accept a 15in laptop and the side includes a clip system to hold your tripod. Front and centre are two more roomy pockets for accessories.

The external waterproofing is hard-wearing and the roll top design offers great weather-sealing. While it’s comfortable and rugged, it feels as though the camera area has been severely overlooked compared to others in test
