Manfrotto 190 Go!

Here's our review of the stylish Manfrotto 190 Go!

The Manfrotto 190 Go! has a maximum extended height of 158cm and extendable legs divided into four sections. The swinging central column can be set up in either a vertical or horizontal position and, when coupled with a full spread of the latter, the minimum height is 9cm.

The stylish Manfrotto 190 Go!

The 190 Go! is simple to use and reassuringly solid

The column itself sits between a twist-lock mechanism, so there are no gears or levers at play – simply a button at the base to allow you to extend or retract. It’s also worth mentioning that you can’t adjust the column through the 90° range, but it does feel solid enough to entrust with your camera in both landscape and portrait orientations.

The quality of the materials feels reassuring, but – for just a little more money – the Benro offers very similar dimensions and will also support an extra 4kg of payload and ground-level shooting.
