With a huge 300m range, these Pixel King Pros are a force to be reckoned with.
This set includes one transceiver and one receiver, both of which feature a hotshoe with TTL pass-through and a PC sync input. The units offer 15 fixed and one automatic frequency channel, while there is also the option to split the triggers into one of three groups. With a rear LCD screen on the transceiver and ten buttons, wireless power control of flashguns is available, although not the simplest to operate. However, impressively TTL and i-TTL can be used wirelessly. With HSS (High Speed Sync) compatibility these triggers are also suitable for exposures as fast as 1/8000sec, a feature not found on any of the others in this test. The set has a shutter release function, but to use it you need a special USB cable that’s sold separately. Compatible with older generation Kings, extra receiver units can be purchased for £52.
