These UP-Rise bags get their name from being an expandable design, but this particular bag doesn’t rise up, but more expands in depth. The backpack is a traditional looking product, but has a really nice design. The fabric is great quality and the zips are also durable. On the back of the bag is some substantial padding against your back, with plenty of space for air to circulate between the padding. The shoulder straps are very well padded and a strap across the chest holds the bag in place. A belt clip is included and can be stowed in the back.
No complaints about access to this bag. A large front opening was complemented by a useful side access panel and bright interior. Our gear fitted very easily into this bag, with room for more if we had needed it. Big laptop space at the back. Side tripod attachments and room for a big laptop, plus built-in rain cover.
Few bags offer such a great set of features and space for £100. The UP-Rise I 48 is a great bag that is well made and has useful space.
