Here’s our concise review of the Gitzo Adventury 30L heavy-duty backpack…
Stylish yet functional – this is essentially the Gitzo mantra, with the premium company now branching out into kit bags. This green backpack offers a large storage compartment, big enough to carry a pro DSLR with a 70-200mm lens with an additional four to five more lenses. You can also hook up your tripod, as well as store a 15in laptop. Impressive size aside, you have two external side pockets, one of which can be used alongside the strap system to carry a tripod. There’s also a roomy front zip pocket, which is ideal for your smaller accessories. The top of the bag features a roll design, which is great for braving the elements. There’s also a rain cover included – a must for braving the British weather.
This bag is great for those who cover long distances, or are looking to carry a lot of kit in a rugged casing. However, the premium price does make it restrictive for many, especially compared to some of the other more budget-friendly offerings found in test.
