Here's our concise review of the waterproof Olympus Stylus Tough TG-4 compact camera...
Olympus’ 15m-rated TG-4 is exceptionally well specced. Sporting a 16MP 1/2.3in CMOS sensor, 35mm equivalent 25-100mm f/2-4.9 lens and RAW files, this is the Swiss Army Knife of underwater compacts.
The rear screen is a 3in LCD with 460k dots, great for reviewing your images on the fly. The ISO ranges from 100 to 6400 and the sensor shift image stabilisation means you can work well when the light abandons you at lower depths. The contrast-detect AF should help you get sharp images and the wide array of underwater preset modes will create brilliant images straight-out-of-camera.
The shutter speed ranges from 4sec (when using the Night Scene setting) up to 1/2000sec for freezing fast-moving objects. Sequential shooting will also let you create some stunning time-lapses of your adventure, right up to the 380-shot battery life.
